Christmas Vacation

I'm so excited about Christmas we have Our Christmas Play tomorrow night at the high school. then on Friday we go on a walk to the park to see all the lights. After that we have hot chocolate at Ginies Cupboard. When we get back to the school we are going to make gingerbread houses. My favorite part is when we get Christmas break.

This week at school we had to go on the stage for music class for one whole hour. On Monday was my cosin's birthday she was turning 9 . Today we went to LMC and PE. Yestrerday we went to art and made chritmas stuff. And on Tuesday we got math hhomework.

What I'm doing for thanks Giving

For Thanks Giving I usually Go to both my grandma's house's. M y dad is always hunting so he misses the one on my mom's side but he has to come to his mom and dad's. On my dad's side of the family my ant Jan makes all the pies. They're really good. When my uncles get deer we usually eat the meat. Sometimes we play golf too. But most of all we eat . So that's how I spend my Thanks Giving.

What we did at school this week

Monday was basically just a regular school day. we also practiced for our Christmas play for music. Our class is singing with Mrs. Hagen's class. Tuesday was also a normal school day. Except that day we had art I think . Then Wednesday was still normal. But this didn't happen this week but Mrs. Mohrbacher (our social studies teacher) is having a baby. Thursday we did a lot of stuff. First we started our Math Monsters . we make them out of shapes and trace them. Then we write an SA about how we met them. At lunch time we had turkey and stuff for Thanks Giving. Then Fri day we did some more math monsters.

This weekend my grandma and grandpa had their 60th anniversary at the Fox Hole Pub. Then on Sunday we had a bridal shower for my cousin's brother's girlfriend. They are also getting married in August. We also had bean bag toss.

Today on Memorial Day, me, my grandma, my brother and my mom went for a walk down the road. Then, me and my brother went to my grandma's house. We played with Mikayla and her brother. We also rode our bikes to the park down the road. My grandma has bouncy balls with handles at her house and we played on them outside. Mikayla and I had popsicles and rode our bikes to the park. My grandma also had a flat tire on her car. We saw baby robins in a nest with their mom. The nest was on top of my grandma's garage. My dad always goes hunting in South Dakota on Memorial Day weekend. Tonight he just got back; it takes him 10 hours to drive there and 10 hours to drive back. I am glad my dad is back home! When I got home from my grandma's house I went and played on the hammock swing. After supper I went back outside to ride the four wheeler. After that, I went to bed.

On Saturday, my friend Serena came over to play and her brother came to play with my brother. We went to the park and played and we went up to see the water in the Sparta pool. After the park, we went to the Tastee Treat for ice cream.

Today we are dedicating our books to someone. I'm dedicating mine to my grandma and grandpa because next weekend is their anniversary. All my family is going to their anniversary except my mom's side of the family but my mom is coming. Then after that on Sunday my family is having a wedding shower for my cousin's brother's girlfriend. they are getting married in August. My dad has a big family because he had 8 brothers and sisters including him. so I am very excited about next weekand.

Today my family and I laid down patio blocks. Then we got the four wheeler back from the guy who fixed it. We ate supper at the Dairy Way in Black River Falls. Tonight my dad went to my grandma and grandpa's house to fix their sink.

This weekend Mikayla came over to my house to play. My family and I are putting patio blocks on the ground so we can put up our blowup pool. We are putting gravel and sand down first and then the patio blocks. In 2 weeks, my grandma and grandpa are having their 60th wedding anniversary party and my dad's whole family is invited. Then on Sunday there is going to be a wedding shower at my house.

On Mother's Day I gave my mom a clay pot that I made in art class. My brother made a clay dish in art class for my mom. My mom loved her gifts and put them in the kitchen where everyone can see them. We are also going to get my mom a pear tree when the weather is nice. My family gave my grandma a flower hanging basket and a bag of bird seeds for her birds. We took my grandma out to eat with my cousins and my uncle on Saturday night. My cousins and my uncle are really funny. For my other grandma on my dad's side of the family, we gave her little pots of flowers to put in the flower pot we gave her last year. My dad, my brother and I planted the flowers in the pot for her. At my grandma and grandpas house we practiced on my grandpa's inside putting game. Then we went outside and played golf in the back yard. After that we went to the park and played. When we got back home we all had supper. My mom and my brother went for a bike ride. Lacy got to come inside because it was a special day.
It was a fun Mother's Day!

This weekend is mothers day and my mom wants a pear tree. They don't grow real pears it's just the name of it. Tonight me and my family are going to a restaurant called Old Town for Mother's Day. Friday night my family had to take the four wheeler to the guy we it from because it wasn't working. We also ate dinner at the Dairy Way in Black river Falls.

Today we are planting trees at school. Then on Wednes day we are going on a feild trip to a farm. Over the weekand my friend Mikala came to my house for a sleepover. In scince we have to come up with a 3-5 minute long sing, rap, story, or play for what we learned about electricity. We can also have props and costumes but we don't have to.

This week is third grade orientation. That is when the third graders visit the school to see what it looks like before they come there. But different schools come either on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

This week my class is doing MAPS testing. It is a test on different subjects like Reading, Language, math, and Science. We also got our pictures for spring.

Another Field trip that the 4th grade went on was a trip to Paul Bunyan logging camp and a museum. There was also a theater in the museum that showed a slide show about farm life. In the logging camp there was a cook shanty and a bunk house.

On Monday the hole 4th grade went to Madison to go tour the state capitol building and visit Cave of the Mounds.

This weekend I might be going to the children's museum with my friend Erica.

Tonight we had our 4th grade concert and it was at the high school. I had a speaking part and it was [ The curent trends are to stay with revivals and already accepted material and classic literature to have an audience base. The American musical is constantly changing to fit where the paying public allows.]

I went to my cousin's house so my dad could do some electrical work because that is his job. I also played outside.

This week Mr. Stoeckly our teacher went to Arizona on a vacation. We had our favorite substitute Mrs. Mohr. On Friday night at my brother's school, Lawrence Lawson, we went to the Spring Fling Dance. I had a lot of fun dancing with my friends.

Today was early dismissal at school and the 4th graders are doing a musical so we had to practice this morning. the play is at the high school auditorium on April 15th.

For reading in school we are writing a MYSTERY STORY and we don't know when it is due. I have a question to ask you.


Do you think it would be fun to write a mystery story?

Surfing is not all I did at the Kalahari. I also went on water slides and the hot tub. My favorite water slide is the Master Blaster. It is a raft slide and it is very fast.

Over Spring break I went to the Kalahari water park in Wisconsin Dells on Easter day and my family and I spent the night in the resort. I went on a ride that you had to surf on. You are probably thinking how would you put a ocean in water park? Well it isn't an ocean it is a platform with cement under it but it has plastic stuff and pads on it. Then water comes out of the bottom and sides. I stood on my knees and lay ed on my stomach. It was also my mom and dad's anniversary day.

Well now that our long vacation is over we have to go back to school. We are having a Spring Musical and we are practicing in every music time.

Today in my classroom E111 we had a BIG MATH TEST. I am so excited for spring break. But we have to go back to school on Wednesday.
